Blandair Park is one of the county's premier destinations for sports events. Once the final phase is complete, the park will be 300 acres. Amenities now available include three lighted synthetic turf multipurpose fields, 2 lighted synthetic ball fields, press boxes and bleachers, along with playgrounds, pavilions, tennis courts, restrooms and a parking lots. The park is conveniently located on Oakland Mills Road, one-third of a mile north past the intersection of Old Montgomery Road and Oakland Mills Road.

Troy Park at Elkridge is Howard County’s eighth regional park, joining Blandair, Cedar Lane, Centennial, Rockburn Branch, Savage, Schooley Mill and Western Regional. Troy Park consist of four lighted synthetic multipurpose fields with press box structures and bleachers seating, parking areas, pavilions and a playground.
